Week 9 NFL Power Rankings: Where do we go from here?

In this week’s NFL Power Rankings, Mark Schofield stacks all 32 NFL teams after a shocking Week 9.

I will not name names, but one of the writers here at Touchdown Wire is not the biggest fan of Pink Floyd…to put it mildly.

(That would be me — Doug Farrar)

But watching the games this week, I could not help but think of a lyric from a Pink Floyd song Keep Talking.” “I sometimes wonder…where do we go from here?”

After all, Week 9 probably gave us more questions than answers about some of the teams we thought were true Super Bowl contenders. Look at the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Perhaps we should have seen this coming after a lackluster win last Monday night over the New York Giants, but the Buccaneers were dreadful against the New Orleans Saints. Their fans might be wondering, “Where do we go from here?”

Then there are the Seattle Seahawks, who suffered a blowout loss at the hands of Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills. Sure they have Russell Wilson, who is playing like an MVP, but with their defense woes, they need Wilson to be perfect each week. He was not on Sunday, and they went down.

Even the Pittsburgh Steelers, who entered Week 9 atop the Power Rankings, had to go to the final play to beat the Dallas Cowboys. Are they still worthy of the top spot?

Only one way to find out.
