Fresno State getting Jake Haener back was big for them and he showed up big late in the game with back-to-back touchdowns, but also special teams helped with the onside kick recovery.
The Bulldogs are now on the rise with Haener back and topping rival Aztecs.

The one positive is that the quarterback play looked better under Shane Illingworth who for 223 yards with a pick and a touchdown.

The Warriors are hanging around and keeping games closer but they are still learning with these close losses.
8. UNLV (LW: 8, 35 points)
Off this week and the goal is to maybe be getting Doug Brumfield back in a huge Week 10 test vs. San Diego State.
7. Utah State (LW: 7, 40 points)
A lot of off-the-field issues with the Aggies at the moment. Their big question is what quarterback will play this week.
6. San Diego State (LW: 6, 64 points)
The Aztecs should have had a win over rival Fresno State. The special teams miscue was a bad look, but the positive is that the passing game has found some life under Jalen Mayden.
5. Wyoming (LW: 5, 68 points)
The Cowboys look to have another great running back in the fold as D.Q. James had a monster game with 179 yards. Titus Swen had just the few carries so it’s good to see that Wyoming has a second back when needed.
4. Fresno State (LW: 4, 69 points)
The Bulldogs stay in the same spot with the close win. The first game back for Jake Haener was big and we will see what they do in their next game.
3. San Jose State (LW: 2, 77)
The Spartans dropped due to a sluggish game vs. Nevada. San Jose State had to come from behind to get the win this week, but they are in good position to win the West Division.
2. Air Force (LW: 3, 1 first-place vote, 80)
The Falcons were off this week but gained a first-place vote. Air Force has struggled in close games this year, but they have a big rivalry game with Army this week and a chance to clinch the Commander-In-Cheif trophy.
1. Boise State (LW: 1, 8 first-place vote, 95 points)
The Broncos bucked the first-place curse with an easy win over Colorado State. They go into non-conference play with a reeling BYU team that is fighting for its bowl eligibility life.
