Week 6 LSU in the NFL: Darrel Williams steps up for Clyde Edwards-Helaire

Darrel Williams, Joe Burrow, and Leonard Fournette headline former LSU Tigers in the NFL during week six action.

Another week of NFL action firmly in the books. In week six we saw former LSU running back Darrel Williams step in for an injured Clyde Edwards-Helaire. He made the most of his opportunity against the Washington Football Team. Williams ended the game with two touchdowns in the victory for the Kansas City Chiefs.

Burrow has Cincinnati at 4-2 and hold second place in their division. Ja’Marr Chase didn’t score a touchdown but had four receptions for 97 yards in the game.

Leonard Fournette also had a big game for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, just 48 hours before he would see his single-game rushing record be eclipsed by Ty Davis-Price. Fournette accounted for 127 yards on 28 touches in the Bucs victory over Philadelphia.
