Week 2 Tennessee-Oklahoma: Sooners’ receiver to miss start of season

NORMAN – Tennessee will kickoff the 2020 football season Sept. 5 against Charlotte at Neyland Stadium.

In Week 2, the Vols will travel to Oklahoma and take on the Sooners.

According to a report from SoonerScoop, Oklahoma will be without wide receiver Jadon Haselwood.

“Lincoln Riley confirms WR Jadon Haselwood suffered a lower leg injury and will miss the start of the 2020 season,” SoonerScoop reported on Twitter. “Said it was a “freak” non-football, non-workout injury.”

In 2019, Haselwood played in 13 games, recording 19 receptions for 272 yards and a touchdown for the Sooners.
