Week two of the college football season gets underway on Thursday night, and for the Big Ten, the action begins Friday night with a pair of matchups.
Week one of the college football season in the Big Ten provided much of a status quo. There was only one upset, that being Fresno State over Purdue, and outside of Illinois surviving a scare from Toledo, the Big Ten’s other 12 teams took care of their opponent rather quietly.
Week two in the Big Ten will likely present much of the same. Four Big Ten teams match up against FCS opponents and five more face Group of Five opponents. That being said, the five remaining matchups outside those nine are intriguing and present plenty of storylines to discuss heading into the weekend.
