Prediction: Seahawks over 49ers 24-21
The Seahawks love to make things more complicated than necessary and have struggled to beat coach Kyle Shanahan’s 49ers twice in one season in recent years. In fact, the only time Seattle has swept Shanahan’s Niners was in his debut season of 2017, splitting with him in 2018 and 2019.
The Niners know Seattle well, and State Farm Stadium has become somewhat of cursed ground for the Seahawks of late.
The Seahawks should win in the end, but they should expect a tough fight to help prepare them as they look forward to the postseason . . . and higher aspirations.
