The NFL is a funny league. In 10 weeks of action, the Dallas Cowboys have had the most dominant victory in four of their nine contests, and the most dominant defeat once as well. On Sunday, the Baltimore Ravens looked like one of the two best teams in the league for about 45 minutes before things fell totally apart.
The worst team in the AFC last season, the Houston Texans, is all of a sudden in the playoff picture, ahead of at least one team thought to be a Super Bowl contender in the Cincinnati Bengals. The Raiders and Colts are both somehow right behind them. With the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs getting the week off before their Big Game rematch, did the 49ers do enough in their return to action to disrupt the top two?
