This week took a lot of math — that could be more of a me thing. Boise State fell to BYU last week and that meant their death grip on the top spot is in jeopardy.
The Broncos no longer hold every single first-place vote but now they are joined by Fresno State, Air Force, and San Jose State as teams who have a first-place vote.
Boise State still has the lead in the conference with its undefeated record but the non-conference slate has been an issue.
Fresno State looked really good being back fully healthy, but also playing Hawaii can cure a lot of things. Odds are it will take a bit for them or any other team to maybe earn at least the plurality of the first-place votes from our staff.
Before we get to the rankings here is how some of our staff voted.
