Coming into his first NBA offseason and inaugural Las Vegas Summer League performances, Boston Celtics second-year guard Payton Pritchard did plenty to raise the bar on expectations for his sophomore season in the league.
Dominating in the Sin City exhibition series (save his off night in the title game), many fans and analysts believe the former Oregon star is in for a big step forward in 2021-22 with the Celtics. But with a fairly deep backcourt rotation, the question of where the West Linn native will get the minutes needed for said step forward is more than a fair ask.
“Locked on Celtics” podcast host John Karalis is joined by NBC Sports Boston’s Chris Forsberg to debate exactly that topic on the former’s pod, and also get into how the recent extensions inked by Robert Williams III and Marcus Smart may change the team’s horizons.
Watch or listen to the podcast embedded above to get their take on the minutes breakdown on Boston’s slightly crowded guard rotation, and get up to speed and all things offseason Celtics.
