WATCH: Weekly Oklahoma football chat (July 26)

Here are 24 minutes from Sooners Wire managing editor Kegan Reneau talking everything Oklahoma football related from the last week.

It was another slow news week for Oklahoma, but there was still plenty to talk about.

The Sooners released their weekly COVID-19 testing data, which showed they are still working in a bubble for the last 11 days now. Oklahoma has been releasing the data weekly on Thursdays.

The NCAA Board of Governors did not make a decision on fall sports championships on Thursday, which will be a catalyst for a decision on fall football in its entirety. The Big 12 still has not made a decision and are content on waiting until the clock for a decision strikes zero.

Oklahoma moved its season opener up one week to help manage unprecedented circumstances.

The Sooners picked up a commitment from a 2022 recruit, will likely lose a top recruit to Texas A&M and have the ‘Sooner Summit’ in the works. Class of 2021 commitments sent out the ‘O’ emoji to indicate they got another commitment.

Junior college signee Justin Harrington is also set to arrive on campus Monday.

Watch managing editor Kegan Reneau discuss the news from the week and answer questions on his weekly chat.
