WATCH: Washington Wizards 96 – Boston Celtics 90 full game highlights

The Boston Celtics’ second and third units were no match for the Wizards bubble bench mob as Washington took home their first win of the restart Thursday.

The Boston Celtics bench mob was outmaneuvered by the Washington Wizards ‘bubble’ bunch 96 – 90 Thursday afternoon with six of the Celtics best players resting up for the postseason.

Boston was competitive, even leading for large chunks of the game despite the absence of Jayson Tatum, Marcus Smart, Gordon Hayward, Daniel Theis and Jayen Brown.

With solid outings from shooting guard Javonte Green (23 points, 4 rebounds), power forward Semi Ojeleye (13 points, 8 rebounds), center Enes Kanter (8 points, 5 boards) and Tremont Waters (7 points, 4 assists and 5 steals).

Big man Vincent Poirier had 9 rebounds off the bench, and forward Grant Williams added 8 boards and 7 points as a reserve as well.

There’s even a stretch of Tacko Time as Fall put in 4 points, as many rebounds and 2 blocks in 8 minutes of game time.

It ultimately wasn’t enough for Wizards center Thomas Bryant’s big game, in which he scored 26 points, 9 rebounds and 4 steals. Forward Johnathan Williams had 5 points and 16 rebounds as well.

So, if you missed the game and want to see how the Celtics second and third units did in a game that matters little in the long run without having to watch it from tip to buzzer, or just happen to be a glutton for punishment, we’ve got you covered with the video embedded above.
