Following a two-game run in Sacramento California Classic, the summer league edition of the Golden State Warriors began their campaign in Las Vegas.
With the Warriors slated to open the Las Vegas Summer League against top prospects Jalen Suggs, Franz Wagner and the Orlando Magic, the Warriors needed to lean on their pair of first-round picks.
Following Jonathan Kuminga and Moses Moody’s impressive debuts in Sacramento, the 2021 first-round picks recorded another solid effort in Las Vegas on Monday, despite the Warriors falling in overtime to the Magic.
While Kuminga was busy with some highlight-reel dunks on his way to 16 points, Moody showed off his passing skills with a crafty no-look dime to Gary Payton II.

Along with a smooth pass to Payton II, the former Arkansas standout produced 15 points on 6-of-13 shooting from the field with four rebounds, two assists and a steal in 26 minutes.
On Wednesday, the Warriors will meet Scottie Barnes and the Toronto Raptors at 5 p.m. PDT in the Las Vegas Summer League.
