Before he starts getting ready for the new NBA season, Golden State Warriors forward Juan Toscano-Anderson took his skills to the baseball diamond.
Prior to the Oakland Athletics game against the Texas Rangers at the Oakland Coliseum, Toscano-Anderson, an Oakland native, tossed out the ceremonial first pitch.
While donning his Golden State No. 95 on a kelly green Oakland A’s jersey, Toscano-Anderson fired a strike from the bump that landed in the catcher’s mitt behind the plate.

While his pitch wasn’t close to a fastball from Oakland’s All-Star pitcher Chris Bassitt, Toscano-Anderson’s first pitch didn’t dribble across the plate after a flurry of bounces. Oakland’s catcher also didn’t have to move off his spot to chase Toscano-Anderson’s pitch.
Following his pitch, Toscano-Anderson served as a good luck charm for the Oakland A’s. Behind a three-run walk-off home run from Starling Marte, the A’s beat the Rangers, 4-1, in extra innings.
