Watch: Warriors’ Jordan Poole throws out first pitch at San Francisco Giants game

Before the red-hot San Francisco Giants met the Atlanta Braves, Warriors guard Jordan Poole tossed the first pitch at Oracle Park.

As they battle the Los Angeles Dodgers for the top spot in the National League West, a San Francisco Giants game has become the hottest ticket in the Bay Area.

Along with seeing members of the Giants like Kris Bryant, Buster Posey and LaMonte Wade Jr., fans at Oracle Park got to see a member of the Golden State Warriors at Sunday’s game against the Atlanta Braves.

Before the Giants took the mound, Jordan Poole was called on to throw out the first pitch. While wearing a No. 3 Giants jersey to match his Golden State uniform, Poole stepped to the bump with coach Alyssa Nakken behind the dish.

Although the pitch was just a bit high, Poole’s toss didn’t skip in front of the plate or completely miss his target.

Poole’s pitch wasn’t enough to provide the Giants with a bit of magic against the Braves on Sunday. Max Fried and the Braves went on to blank the Giants, 3-0 in San Francisco. After the loss, the Giants hold just a one-game lead over the Dodgers as their playoff race continues to heat up in September.
