Although the Golden State Warriors’ 2020-21 season came to an underwhelming end with back-to-back losses in the play-in tournament, Jordan Poole’s late-season rise was a shining bright spot.
Following an impressive stint in the G League bubble, Poole went on to average 14.7 points on 43.3% shooting from the floor with 2.4 assists and 2.1 rebounds in 23.5 minutes per contest. During the final 36 games, Poole notched seven starts for Steve Kerr’s squad.
After a strong campaign to end his second season in the association, Poole is looking like a player to tab for a breakout year in 2021-22.
Before suiting back up with the Warriors, Poole joined Jamal Crawford’s Seattle pro-am “The Crawsover.” In his debut, the 22-year-old showed off his repertoire of scoring skills that has Warriors fans buzzing.
On his way to scoring 36 points on Poole showed off a flurry of highlight-reel moves, including long-range 3-pointers that resembled his teammates Steph Curry and Klay Thompson. Poole added 11 rebounds and six assists in his first game at Crawford’s event.
