Watch: Warriors’ Jonathan Kuminga explodes for powerful dunk over Grizzlies’ Desmond Bane

Jonathan Kuminga added another poster-worthy dunk to his highlight reel on Wednesday against the Grizzlies.

With Andrew Wiggins ruled out before tipoff, Steve Kerr and the Golden State Warriors turned to second-year forward Jonathan Kuminga in the starting lineup.

With the chance to start, Kuminga added a pair of explosive dunks against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. His second highlight-reel slam dunk of the night might end up on a poster soon.

Shortly after coming out of the locker room at halftime, Klay Thompson found Kuminga near the bucket with Desmond Bane attempting to cover the rim. The G League Ignite product soared right past the Grizzlies’ defender for an emphatic one-handed dunk.

Along with a pair of high-flying dunks, Kuminga finished the game with 13 points on 5-of-6 shooting from the field with a made triple to go along with four assists, two boards and one block in 24 minutes. With Kuminga’s help, the Warriors held on for a win against the Grizzlies, 122-120.

If Wiggins remains out due to a non-COVID related illness, the Warriors could continue to lean on Kuminga in the starting lineup in their next game on Friday against the Toronto Raptors.
