Christian Pulisic put his name in the record books.
And he put his body on the line in the process.
In the USMNT’s 1-0 win over Iran on Tuesday to clinch a spot in the knockout round of the 2022 World Cup, Pulisic scored and was injured in the process, leading to him being substituted at the beginning of the second half.
Fans in Qatar went nuts, as did U.S. fans from around the country, which was captured on various cameras. Maybe we’ll get them all in one video down the road like we got when Landon Donovan scored in 2010.
