With the stakes as high as they can get in the Super Bowl, emotions can get pretty intense. The first half of Super Bowl LV in Tampa has certainly been no exception to that idea.
Former LSU Tigers standout Tyrann Mathieu, playing for the AFC champion Kansas City Chiefs, is never one to back down from a verbal exchange. In the first half against the NFC champion Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Mathieu found himself exchanging verbal blows with none other than Tom Brady.

Feel free to try reading Brady’s lips if you can. We can only guess what Mathieu was saying while holding up four fingers as the two separated themselves.
Mahieu and Brady had another verbal confrontation late in the first half after Brady threw his third touchdown of the half to give the Bucs a commanding 21-3 lead on the Chiefs. A pass interference penalty on Mathieu n the late first-half drive helped lead to the third Bucs touchdown.

Mathieu is one of six former LSU players participating in the Super Bowl. No other school has more players representing them in the big game this season.
