Watch: Tyler Huntley picks up first down with electric 13-yard run

Ravens quarterback Tyler Huntley picked up a first down with an electric 13-yard run

The Baltimore Ravens have been dealing with countless injuries over the course of the 2021 season. That didn’t change in Week 14, as quarterback Lamar Jackson exited the game with an ankle injury, was carted back to the locker room and was subsequently ruled out for the rest of the game.

Backup quarterback Tyler Huntley came into the game to replace Jackson, and showed off some of his skills on a very impressive 13-yard run that saw him juke multiple defenders, including taking the ankles of a Cleveland defender.

Huntley has proven to be a capable backup for Jackson in the games that he’s had to play in this season. He was put in a bit of a different situation than in Week 11 against the Chicago Bears, when he knew that he would be starting before the first snap. Huntley was inserted into the game during the middle of the contest in Week 14, and still was able to make some magic happen.
