Tyler Higbee has only played three games this season but he now has more touchdown receptions than all other Rams tight ends. For the second time in the last three weeks, Higbee found the end zone for six points against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday afternoon.
He capped off an eight-play, 78-yard drive led by Jimmy Garoppolo, catching a 6-yard touchdown pass after leaking out late to the right side. He came wide open after Devon Witherspoon bit hard on the play-action fake, leaving Higbee all alone near the goal line.
For a player who came back from the injuries that Higbee did, it’s awesome to see him in the end zone once again. There’s a reason he’s beloved by his teammates and it’s not just because he’s a productive player on the field.
