For some odd reason, Tua Tagovailoa is one of the most scrutinized quarterbacks in the NFL. He’s only been in the league one season, but that hasn’t stopped the constant criticism.
As Year 2 approaches, Tagovailoa is working hard to take a massive second-year leap with the Miami Dolphins. On Monday, a video was released showing the former top-5 pick going through an interesting workout.
Check it out for yourself.

Maybe it’s just me, but that looks extremely difficult. Granted, I’m probably not as coordinated as a professional athlete — and a quarterback at that. But still, it’s impressive to watch nonetheless.
We’ve seen various videos and photos released throughout the offseason proving that Tagovailoa is taking his training seriously. That’s fantastic to see, especially considering he’ll also be another 9-10 months removed from that gruesome hip injury.
The Dolphins are doing what they can to help their young quarterback too. They’ve signed a few free agents, including wide receiver Will Fuller V and center Matt Skura.
In addition, they recently made a trade with the San Francisco 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles to move down from No. 3 to No. 6 while also accumulating even more draft capital. Those decisions should set the franchise up nicely and allow them to build around Tagovailoa.
Add in his intense preparation, and this could make for one heck of a comeback season for the Hawaii native.
