The Miami Dolphins’s social team is setting quite the high bar for themselves. Tuesday’s first day of pads afforded fans the chance to listen to linebacker Jerome Baker wear a microphone and get a taste of his energy and enthusiasm on the field. It didn’t disappoint. There aren’t very many choices that could be made that would be even more entertaining on this roster — and yet that’s exactly what the Dolphins did the very next day.
They strapped the microphone on their second-year quarterback, Tua Tagovailoa.
Some of the highlights of Tagovailoa’s practice include some words of encouragement for his offensive unit, fair warning about the hot microphone and plenty of throws, as you would expect.
Ooohhh, we've got some guys shaking and baking today.@Tua on the mic! pic.twitter.com/ohuoXeOOM1

It’s great to get a little sampling of how Tagovailoa conducts himself around his teammates on the field and see exactly how his reported advancements in comfort and leadership around this team are materializing themselves. As Tagovailoa continues to take ownership over his offense and the team, we should be able to see more and more of this side of Tagovailoa bleeding through into the public eye.
And if he can carry that, along with his renewed accuracy and willingness to attack in training camp into the team’s regular season, Miami will likely feel thrilled about the next chapter of their young quarterback’s career.
