WATCH: Trio of former LSU Tigers having major impact for the Chiefs

Some former Tigers making an impact for the Chiefs on Sunday.

The Chiefs have plenty of former LSU Tigers playing for them on Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders. It didn’t take long before each one of them were making an impact on the game.

It started with Darrel Williams who scored first for the Kansas City Chiefs offense. After a defensive touchdown to open the game, KC quarterback Patrick Mahomes found Williams out of the backfield for the 23-yard touchdown on third and three.

Next up is another former running back in Clyde Edwards-Helaire as he was able to “glyde” into the end zone on a pitch from Mahomes. That put the Chiefs up 21-0 over the Raiders.

The third former member of the Tigers to get into the act was safety Tyrann Mathieu. It just so happened to come at the expense of former LSU tight end Foster Moreau. The Honey Badger took the deflection off Moreau deep into Las Vegas territory to set up yet another Chiefs touchdown.

Mathieu has also added a fumble recovery to his stat line for the game. Former Tigers making plays everywhere for the defending AFC champions.

The Chiefs are currently beating Las Vegas 35-0.
