Watch: Tony Pollard plays, Tony Pollard scores

Running back Tony Pollard catches the first touchdown pass of his career to give the Dallas Cowboys the lead.

The opening two drives for the Dallas Cowboys didn’t go according to plan. The game opened with running back Ezekiel Elliott fumbling the ball which resulted in the Detroit Lions taking advantage of the short field and scoring a touchdown.

The third drive was better, but a 14 play drive was ultimately wasted after quarterback Dak Prescott was sacked on 3rd and goal. Dallas finally hit pay dirt on their fourth drive in the form of a 21-yard catch and run from backup running Tony Pollard.

Pollard didn’t get much action in the Cowboys’ Week 10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings, but the club has addressed that early in this contest.

Kicker Brett Maher hit the extra point to make the score 10-7. It was Pollard’s second touchdown of his rookie season and his first receiving.
