The New England Patriots honored former quarterback Tom Brady during halftime of Sunday’s season opener against the Philadelphia Eagles. It was nostalgic and brought back many good memories for Brady and Patriots fans alike.
It was an exciting day all around. Brady was honored, while his former team went wire-to-wire with the defending NFC champion Philadelphia Eagles. He also got a look at his successor in the process. Mac Jones threw for 316 yards and three touchdowns to keep New England in the thick of things.
Several of Brady’s former New England teammates were at the ceremony, and it was announced that a larger ceremony would be held on June 12, 2024.

New England will return to action next Sunday to take on the Miami Dolphins in a game with even greater stakes considering it will be an AFC East divisional matchup.
Kickoff for the game is set for 8:25 p.m. ET on Sunday night.
