After an impressive preseason Week 1 showing, Tennessee Titans rookie running back Tyjae Spears is picking up right where he left off during the preseason Week 2 game against the Minnesota Vikings.
After not finding much room to run early on, Spears finally broke free for his longest run of the night late in the first quarter, which went for 33 yards and a touchdown.
The story of the play wasn’t the fact that it ended in a score, though. Spears pulled off a beautiful hurdle over a Vikings defender in order to complete the play and give the Titans a 7-0 lead.
Here’s a look at the impressive run from the Tulane product.

Spears, who was the main back throughout the entire first quarter, is now up to seven carries for 57 yards, both surpassing his preseason Week 2 totals.
More importantly, Spears continues to look like a special player who could make a huge impact in 2023.
