Watch: Titans RB Derrick Henry is already crushing squats

Tennessee Titans running back, Derrick Henry, is already in the gym putting in that work for next season.

In case you weren’t exactly sure how Tennessee Titans running back, Derrick Henry, is such a massive human being, the Alabama product gave us a firsthand look at the kind of work he puts in to get that way.

Of course, being 6-foot-3 helps, but Henry is also 247 pounds of pure muscle and surprising speed, making him a rock-solid nightmare for opposing defenders who try to tackle him.

Thanks to a video he shared on his Instagram page (via The Checkdown), we got a glimpse of what Henry does to make himself the imposing physical force he has become.

That is an obscene amount of weight. It would take four of me just to roll that across the floor. Now we know how Henry makes grown men look like children when he’s running through them on the football field.

As he approaches free agency, Henry is showing that the hard work he routinely puts in doesn’t stop. After all, we’re just a little over two weeks past the Super Bowl and he’s already in the gym getting ready for next season.

Henry proved he was the heart and soul of the Titans’ offense in 2019, and as a result the team would be wise to bring him back in 2020.

General manager Jon Robinson will have multiple ways to do that, as the Titans will have both the transition and franchise tags at their disposal, on top of the option of signing Henry to a long-term deal.
