Watch: Titans’ Mike Vrabel returns to team facility with mask on

Vrabel returned to the team’s facility with a mask on.

Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel finally made his return to the team’s facility on Monday, but he made sure to take the necessary precautions by wearing a mask upon his arrival.

The Titans shared video of the head coach’s return.

The NFL allowed the coaching staff’s of teams to return as early as last Friday as the league begins to ease the restrictions set forth because of the coronavirus, however the Titans decided to wait a few extra days.

Now we’ll have to see when players will return, which hasn’t happened yet. Only players rehabbing from injuries can be at the team’s facility.

There was some optimism that minicamps could still occur this month, but a recent report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter stated that players may not return until training camp in late July.

Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer did report on Monday that there is some thought that training camps could start earlier than that in order to help get players acclimated after such a long layoff.

Whatever the case may be, the NFL offseason continues to slowly move ahead and it’s becoming increasingly likely that we will indeed have a full regular season that will start on time in 2020.
