Tennessee Titans quarterback Malik Willis has scored the first touchdown of his career against the Houston Texans in Week 16.
Willis, who is filling in for an injured Ryan Tannehill, finally got the Titans back on the scoreboard in the third quarter after the team was blanked in the second.
On a second-and-6 from the Texans’ 14-yard line with the Titans trailing 10-7, Willis faked a handoff to Derrick Henry, broke a tackle behind the line of scrimmage, and then broke multiple others to power his way into the end zone to give Tennessee the lead.
It’s the first career touchdown for the rookie after he was unable to find pay dirt his previous two starts.
