In a recent workout video, we saw first hand just how hard it is to cover Tennessee Titans wide receiver Kalif Raymond one-on-one.
However, it appears cornerback Malcolm Butler was up for the challenge.
Oliver Davis II of Sweet Feet Sports Performance tweets out workout videos featuring NFL players on a regular basis, and on Tuesday he shared one that saw Butler covering Raymond on a few different plays.
And it’s safe to say Butler got the better of the matchup in this instance.

Butler is on the comeback trail in 2020 after missing the team’s final seven games of the 2019 regular season and all of the postseason due to a wrist injury. The Titans certainly could have used him in their playoff run, but unfortunately had exhausted their two returns from IR.
The veteran’s third year in Nashville will be his most important yet.
Not only does the team need him to play at a high level to realize its Super Bowl aspirations, but Butler may also be auditioning for other teams, as it’s very possible he becomes a cap casualty next offseason due to his hefty salary ($14.2 million in 2021).
As for Raymond, he is as close to a roster lock as you can get in 2020 after he flashed his ability as a deep threat last season, which included a huge touchdown catch in the Divisional Round against the Baltimore Ravens.
