Watch: Titans’ Derrick Henry levels own teammate on big play

Poor Chig was just trying to do his job when he got in Derrick Henry’s way.

Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry will stop at nothing to make big plays for his team, even if that involves running over his own teammate.

And that’s exactly what Henry did during the Week 15 game against the Los Angeles Chargers when he took a short pass 37 yards, helping to setup Tennessee’s first score of the game.

As Henry was breaking the big play down the sideline, poor rookie tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo was just doing his job and blocking when he got in Henry’s way.

And, just like Henry does to opposing defenders, he ran right though Chig on his way to completing the big play.

Henry’s 37-yard reception set the Titans up in the red zone, and The King would finish the drive with a four-yard rush to tie the game up at seven.

This is just the drive the Titans’ struggling offense needed, and no surprise it was Henry who helped deliver it.
