Tennessee Titans outside linebacker Bud Dupree is finally on the board, as he notched his first career sack with the team during the Week 7 contest against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Dupree, who has had a tough time in his continued recovery from a torn ACL last season, forcing him to miss some games, got penetration on the Chiefs’ first offensive drive and got to Patrick Mahomes on third down, while also nearly forcing a turnover with a strip.
The Titans are off to a great start, as the offense scored a touchdown on its opening drive after a Derrick Henry touchdown pass to tight end MyCole Pruitt.
Yes, you read that right.
Hopefully this is just the play Dupree needs to really get going. If Dupree can return to form, the Titans will have a very formidable pass-rush with Harold Landry playing the best football of his career to start 2021.
