Watch: Titans’ A.J. Brown turns on the jets for 73-yard TD play

Brown’s 73-yard score provided a much-needed spark for the Titans.

With the Tennessee Titans desperately needing some kind of spark in the third quarter against the Pittsburgh Steelers, wide receiver A.J. Brown came through in a big way.

Quarterback Ryan Tannehill found Brown in the middle of the field, and the second-year pro took the pass 73 yards to the house for Tennessee’s second touchdown of the afternoon to cut the Steelers lead down to two scores.

This play was reminiscent of Brown’s rookie season when he routinely gained huge yardage after the catch, turning short receptions into big plays.

With the score, the Titans now trail 27-14 in what has been a brutally ugly game for the Titans. Brown’s reception almost went for more yards than than the Titans had in total up until that point.

Tennessee went on to make a stop on their next defensive series and have a chance to gain some momentum in a game where it has been tough to come by.
