Stop me if you have heard this one before: Boston Celtics reserve center Robert Williams III was one of the few bright spots in a preventable loss of the Celtics’.
Boston doesn’t seem to have much going right for them at the moment, but at least the Timelord has been consistent now that he’s getting regular opportunities to contribute meaningfully. And while he is still coming off of the bench as he did in last night’s 107 – 96 loss to the Sacramento Kings at TD Garden, he managed to put up a solid stat line of 12 points, 8 rebounds, 2 assists and as many blocks in 22 minutes of floor time.
We may well see some moves made to open more time up for the rising center’s wings to spread ahead of the 2021 NBA trade deadline.
