WATCH! Tim Tebow belts home run for the New York Mets in spring training

Tim Tebow keeps on trying to make it to the big leagues. He hit a home run in a spring training game for the Mets on Tuesday.

Tim Tebow continues his drive to try and make it to the major leagues. The Heisman Trophy winner and former No. 1 draft pick of the Denver Broncos faces an uphill challenge at age 32. However, he got spring training underway with a bang, belting a home run for the New York Mets against the Detroit Tigers on Tuesday.

One major message about how long of a shot Tebow is to see a big-league game is the number on his back: 85 isn’t usually a number one finds on a Major League roster.

But good for Tebow who keeps on doing his best. He has hit 18 home runs in his three seasons in the minors. However, he has struck out 327 times in 940 at-bats.
