NBC Sports Network is having a weekend of NBC Sports From the Vault, featuring consecutive wins by Woods in 2001 as well as some classic college football games.
First up on Sunday is the 2001 Arnold Palmer Invitational in which Woods battled Phil Mickelson in the final round at Bay Hill.
You may recall that Woods birdied the 72nd hole to clinch his 25th career PGA Tour victory.
One week later, Woods was victorious at TPC Sawgrass at the Players Championship.
The 2001 Players is famous for its third round, which featured the famous “Better than most!” call on a Woods putt on the 17th green. Woods was six back before rallying in the final round, holding off Vijay Singh by a shot in a Monday finish.
The Arnold Palmer Invitational replay begins at 8 p.m. ET. The Players replay will start at 11 p.m. ET.
NBC Sports From the Vault will featured 20 hours in all of classic sports this weekend. The replays will include a ticker of live tweets.
During the replays, Dan Hicks, lead golf analyst for NBC Sports, will talk with Paul Azinger, who competed in both tournaments in 2001.
