WATCH: Thielen has Willie Mays-like catch that sets up game-winning TD

Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen caught a 43-yard bomb from Kirk Cousins to set up the team’s game-winning touchdown.

What a throw. What a catch.

In overtime against the Saints, Vikings quarterback Kirk Cousins hit wide receiver Adam Thielen with a 43-yard dime that brought the Vikings to the New Orleans’ 2-yard line. The Vikings would win the game three plays later.

Great toss from Cousins, who won his first-career playoff game. And great concentration from Thielen, who had a costly fumble on the opening drive, to set up the win, and a huge upset, for Minnesota.

Thielen finished the game with seven catches for 129 yards. That last catch was probably the most-important of his career up to this point.

It’s been a tough season for Thielen, who missed a big chunk of it with a hamstring injury. Heading into the Divisional Round against the 49ers, though, Thielen looks 100 percent. That’s huge for this Vikings squad.
