WATCH: The best play by Harden, Westbrook in every Rockets game

The NBA compiled new lists of the No. 1 play by James Harden and Russell Westbrook in every game each played in this season.

With the 2019-20 season on an indefinite hiatus due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the NBA’s official social media account issued new video compilations of the best play in each game by Houston Rockets guards and former MVPs James Harden and Russell Westbrook.

Now 30 years old, the 6-foot-5 Harden leads the NBA in scoring for a third consecutive season with a nightly average of 34.4 points. He’s also in the league’s top 10 in assists at 7.4 per game.

Meanwhile, in his first season with the Rockets (40-24), Westbrook is averaging 27.5 points, 8.0 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game as part of a revived partnership with Harden. (The two All-Stars had played together from 2009 through 2012 in Oklahoma City.)

The 6-foot-3 guard has grown more comfortable with his new team as the season has progressed, culminating with a line of 33.4 points (54.9% FG, 40.0% on 3-pointers), 7.3 rebounds, and 6.0 assists per game in February. Led by the 31-year-old Westbrook, Houston went 9-2 in that month.

Westbrook’s list includes his epic alley-oop dunk at Utah on Feb. 22 off an assist from Harden, while Harden’s compilation features his step-back 3-pointer in the final two minutes at Staples Center on Nov. 22 — all while being fouled by Clippers defensive ace Patrick Beverley.

The complete selections for both players can be viewed below.
