WATCH: The best of Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams in 2020-21

The Tennessee product started slow, but came on strong late in the season.

It took him some time to get comfortable playing in a new role in his second season with the team, but towards the end of the 2020-21 NBA season, Boston Celtics forward Grant Williams was playing quality basketball on both ends of the court.

Williams improved his shooting in particular, his 3-point shot jumping from an abysmal 25% in his inaugural campaign to a very healthy 37.2%, while his scoring jumped from 3.4 to 4.7 points per game. The Tennessee product had issues early on when being asked to defend out towards the perimeter, but looked increasingly comfortable away from the basket as the season drew to a close.
