Houston Texans safety Justin Reid was pumped after the 37-21 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars Sunday afternoon at NRG Stadium.
The Texans weren’t exactly picked to win the game, and if they were, it was going to be by barely anything as both Houston and the Jaguars have been considered the bottom of most power rankings.
How many wins will the Texans gave in 2021, odds-makers ask? Start at four wins for the over/under, and you can make your wager.
For Reid, the big win, which featured three interceptions, one of which Reid collected, was validation of the hard work the team had put in over the course of the offseason and training camp.
“Look at the score!” Reid said via video from the NFL Network’s James Palmer.

Houston has made a statement, but the next goal is whether or not they can write a paragraph as they face the Cleveland Browns next Sunday at 12:00 p.m. Central Time at FirstEnergy Stadium. A win would mark the first time since 2016 they started the year 2-0, which would turn Houston sports fans from scoreboard watching to standings watching.
