Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson had trouble getting the offense going against the Cincinnati Bengals, but it appears to be cooking late in the second quarter.
The three-time Pro Bowler threw a 25-yard touchdown pass to receiver Brandin Cooks. With the extra point, the Texans tied the Bengals 10-10 with 2:00 to go until halftime.
The touchdown pass also helps Watson get closer to overtaking Matt Schaub for the franchise record for single-season touchdown passes. Schaub set the mark with 29 in 2009. Watson is at 28. If he has a three-touchdown game, Watson will own it.
