WATCH: Texans QB Deshaun Watson throws touchdown pass to RB David Johnson against the Bengals

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson threw his 29th touchdown pass of the season to running back David Johnson against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson may set the new franchise record for single-season touchdown passes against the Cincinnati Bengals.

In their Week 16 showdown at NRG Stadium on Sunday afternoon, Watson threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to running back David Johnson. With the extra point, the Texans tied the game 24-24 with 0:58 to go in the third quarter.

The scoring toss is Watson’s 29th on the season, tying a mark set by Matt Schaub in the 2009 season, a year that also saw the Texans send their starting quarterback to the Pro Bowl.

Johnson has also provided Houston with 10 carries for 118 yards and a touchdown through three quarters.
