Houston Texans quarterback Deshaun Watson and receiver Brandin Cooks may have finally ignited their connection.
With 4:46 to go in the game, Watson dropped back and hit Cooks on a fourth-and-4 with the receiver taking the reception for a 28-yard touchdown. The extra point gave the Texans a 30-14 lead over the Jaguars.
The touchdown gave Cooks his first game with 100-plus receiving yards and a touchdown since he was with the Los Angeles Rams in 2018. Watson has also posted his second straight 300-yard passing game. The last time that happened was in 2018 from Weeks 2-5.
The Houston offense may have finally come alive.
