Terrell Lewis was widely considered a good pick by the Los Angeles Rams at No. 84 overall in the third round, with many calling him a steal after an injury-riddled career at Alabama. Lewis’ opportunities were limited by injuries that sidelined him for long periods of time, but he’s healthy and looking good at Rams training camp.
Lewis has been activated off the reserve/COVID-19 list and has already flashed some potential in practice this week with the pads on. On Wednesday, the Rams shared some live footage of pass-rush drills and Lewis was impossible to ignore.
He went up against second-year tackle Bobby Evans on two reps and appeared to win both of them, showing good quickness on the first and power on the second.
Lewis vs. Evans again.

Lewis’ combination of size and speed is what drew the Rams to him in the draft, among other things. It’s easy to see why Los Angeles was willing to take a chance on him in Round 3 despite his injury history and boom-or-bust potential.
It’s only practice, but Lewis got the better of Evans on both reps, and those around him can’t help but marvel at his size in practice.
