Watch: Tempers flare after Cowboys player shoves Rams staff member to ground

A Cowboys player shoved a member of the Rams’ staff to the ground during a drill and the Rams were not happy

The Los Angeles Rams and Dallas Cowboys scheduled an extra joint practice this week, taking the field together after just playing a preseason game on Sunday. It’s their third time meeting in the last week, so these players are getting to know each other – perhaps a bit too well.

Unsurprisingly, tempers began to flare on Wednesday in Oxnard, with a few dust-ups taking place on the field during practice. One of them came after a Cowboys player, Albert Huggins, shoved a Rams staff member to the ground after a pass-rush drill, a completely unnecessary move by the defensive lineman.

You can see the incident in the video below.

In this second video, you can see Sean McVay walk over to the situation, clearly not happy about what just happened. Huggins was escorted off the field and kicked out of practice.

Rams players yelled at the Cowboys, “They don’t want to practice,” expressing their frustration with the cheap shot on the staff member.
