After Washington quarterback Taylor Heinicke was intercepted by Green Bay linebacker De’Vondre Campbell, who returned it for a touchdown, the Commanders were down 14-3 in the second quarter. It was a rough start for Heinicke in his first start of 2022.
However, on Washington’s next drive, Heinicke completed four of six passes, converting on three third downs before finding running back Antonio Gibson in the back of the end zone for the Commanders’ first touchdown of the day to cut Green Bay’s lead to 14-10.
In total, it was a 12-play, 83-yard drive for Washington when it needed it the most.

While it was a good drive and ending to the drive for Heinicke, he is still struggling, having completed only six of 15 attempts for 43 yards.
Gibson has two receptions for 10 yards and a touchdown, in addition to 30 yards rushing on four attempts.
