WATCH: Tavon Austin gets extra wide, 18-wheeler-turn open for TD

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Tavon Austin hits a home run to put the team back on top of the Los Angeles Rams in the second quarter.

The Dallas Cowboys have decided to score on two straight possessions against the Los Angeles Rams to regain the lead after surrendering a touchdown the previous possession.

This time, it was quarterback Dak Prescott avoiding what could have been a drive killing sack, faking defensive lineman Dante Fowler out and finding wide receiver Tavon Austin wide open for a 59 yard touchdown.

The play must be especially sweet for Austin who’s playing against the team that drafted him in 2013. He ended up wide open on his crossing route when his man was tripped up as they crossed paths with tight end Blake Jarwin.

This is the first touchdown on the season for Austin, and just his third in his career in Dallas, meanwhile Prescott has tied his personal best for total touchdowns in a single season with 29.
