All the defensive intensity that was missing from the Boston Celtics in their earlier games inside the Disney ‘bubble,’ the team has been bringing to bear and then some in their more recent games.
And the results couldn’t be clearer, with a pair of blowout wins against the Brooklyn Nets and Toronto Raptors that were sparked by the Celtics playing some of their best defense of the 2019-20 season — both before and after the pandemic hiatus.
As the team gets ready to face the Orlando Magic on Sunday afternoon, defense will once again be a focus for the Celtics as they work to get their play to the level the playoffs will require.
