Boston Celtics two way big man Tacko Fall won over the hearts and minds of Celtics fans in his rookie season with the team, but as a two way player he had an entire other season only a handful of fans were able to see.
We are of course referring to his time spent with Boston’s G League affiliate, the (Portland) Maine Red Claws, with whom Fall had an outstanding inaugural campaign.
The Senegalese center put up 12.9 points, 11.3 rebounds and 3.1 blocks per game in his rookie season with the Red Claws, in which he averaged 23.3 minutes of floor time while shooting 70.4% overall.
He helped push Maine to one of the best records in the G League along with Rookie of the Year in that league and fellow Celtics two way player Tremont Waters, the pair shuttling to and from Boston on assignment as needed.
If you did not get a chance to see Tacko Fall in a G League game, or just want to revel in his Red Claws glory, watch the video embedded above.
