Fans know that when rookie Tacko Fall is on the court, things are generally going pretty well for the Boston Celtics since he has typically only played during lopsided victories this season.

That was once again the case on Wednesday night.

With just under three minutes left in the game, and the Celtics up by 26 points in Game 2 of their first-round playoff series against the Philadelphia 76ers, Fall checked in. He finished off the game as the Celtics cruised to a 128-101 victory and a 2-0 series lead over the Sixers.

The 7-foot-5 center scored his first career playoff basket in his short stint on the floor as he found himself down in the post with Norvel Pelle matched up on him. Robert Williams III fed him the ball and the big fella went to work as he finished with three points and one rebound.

The appearance for Fall was just his second with the Celtics during the season restart at the Walt Disney World Resort. He made his bubble debut on Aug. 13 in the regular-season finale as he scored four points, four rebounds, two blocks, one assist and one steal in eight minutes.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 33 points while Kemba Walker added 22 and Jaylen Brown finished with 20 in the victory. The Celtics also received key contributions off of the bench, including nine points and six rebounds from Grant Williams.

Game 3 between the Celtics and Sixers is scheduled for Friday at 6:30 p.m. on TNT.
